Internet Computer (ICP) – Ledgible

Importing Internet Computer (ICP) Transactions into Ledgible

Ledgible natively supports several blockchains, allowing you to import your transactions by entering your wallet address. For tokens on blockchains not yet supported by Ledgible, such as Internet Computer, you can import your transaction history into Ledgible by exporting a CSV file from your wallet and importing it into Ledgible. You can then add manual transactions to fix any discrepancies, simulate future transactions, or include your entire transaction history if your wallet does not allow for a CSV export.

Most wallets will have an option to download your transaction history into a file. You can also download your Internet Computer Transaction History by heading over to Internet Computer Network Status Explorer, searching for your address, and downloading the CSV file at the bottom of the transactions for your wallet. If you're unsure whether your wallet offers a file download, please reach out to the support team for your wallet.

The CSV download button on Internet Computer Network Status Explorer will appear below your transactions like this:

Steps to Import Unlisted Cryptocurrency Data by File Import

  1. Log into your Ledgible account.

  2. Navigate to the Crypto Sources tab.

  3. Click Add Source on the top right-hand side.

  4. If the crypto source does not appear in the list, click Unlisted Exchange or Chain as necessary; both follow the same import process.

  5. Enter the name for your crypto source and select Import Exchange activity from File. A warning will be displayed below to help you manage your file imports.

  6. Follow the instructions on how to import your orders and download the template for file imports. Ensure files are formatted according to the template; otherwise, Ledgible will not be able to read or display the data correctly. For more formatting information, refer to Exchange Transaction Types for Template File Imports and Supported File Types for the File Import Wizard.

  7. Confirm the column mapping for the header column and click Yes.

  8. Ensure the fields are correctly mapped with the corresponding category in the CSV file in Ledgible.

  9. Review the orders contained within the CSV file, confirm they match as expected, and click Continue.

  10. Confirm the review page and then you will be redirected to the Ledgible page. Click Next and Create on the following page to add the transactions into Ledgible.

Now you can run an account refresh for your transactions to display in Ledgible.

Creating a Manual Entry in Ledgible

To add manual entries into Ledgible:

  1. Log into your Ledgible account.

  2. Navigate to the Transactions tab.

  3. Click Create Entry on the top right-hand side.

  4. Enter the date, time, and timezone of the transaction, and select the transaction type. You can categorize certain transfers (e.g., designating an incoming transaction as staking rewards) and choose to add the transaction to an existing crypto source or create a new one.

  5. Enter the currency symbol of the asset being transacted, the quantity, and choose your pricing method. Spot pricing means Ledgible retrieves the asset's price at the transaction time automatically, or you can choose Custom Pricing if you know the price paid per unit.

  6. Review the transaction information and confirm.

Once your wallet is added, run an account refresh to display all transactions imported from your new source. You can proceed with adding other crypto sources or review transaction exceptions and generate reports.
